Hip Pain

As the second most mobile joint in our body, the hip also works closely with the sacroiliac, lumbar spine
as well as the knee, ankle and foot. Common causes of hip pain can be how we sleep at night, how we
sit during the day, walking, driving, playing sports, or working in a job that requires lifting and twisting.
Symptoms of hip pain can be very focused to one area or can be a broad area covering everything from
the low back to just above the knee. There is frequently clicking or popping associated with the hip pain
as well.
After performing a good evaluation and examination, Dr. Staley develops a plan to not only relieve the
pain but identify those causes and correct those as well. Left untreated, the hip can degenerate leading
to hip replacement surgery somewhere down the line. So don’t go through life limping and hobbling,
contact the Family Chiropractic Center and let Dr. Staley straighten you out.
